Hanscom, executive director of Picker Institute, and dedicated to advancing the principles of patient-centered care, accepted the Pinwheel Award from Bev Johnson, president and CEO of the Institute for Patient and Family Centered Care at a recent conference in Washington, D.C. The award symbolizes the commitment of both organizations to enhance partnerships among healthcare providers, patients of all ages and patients’ families in hospital and community settings.
