BANGOR, Maine — Husson University will hold its annual Homecoming Weekend Oct. 4-5. Anchored by Homecoming Football, Soccer and Field Hockey games, a full schedule of events is in place.
The weekend will begin with a 2 p.m. pep rally at the stadium. At 4 p.m., the University will unveil a portrait of Husson patriarch Chesley H. Husson, for which members of Husson’s family will be on hand in front of the Sawyer Library where the portrait will hang.
On Friday evening, the University will hold the Alumni Hall of Fame Awards Dinner at the Webber Campus Center beginning at 5:30 p.m. Alumni being inducted are Mark W. Clark, class of ’67, from Ocean City, Maryland, Sidney H. Snow, class of ’76 from Orland, Massachusetts, Theodore C. Towne, class of ’96 from Silver Spring, Maryland, and long-time Husson Trustee Susan A. Carlisle, of Bangor, being named an Honorary Alumna.
A full day of events on Saturday includes a breakfast with President Robert Clark at 8:30 a.m., Husson Eagles Football vs. Castleton State at 12:30 p.m., Women’s Soccer, Men’s Soccer and Field Hockey. Saturday evening tops off the weekend with a performance by The Sounds of the Supremes in the Gracie Theatre at 7:30.
