ELLSWORTH, Maine — Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County has announced its fall volunteer training programs beginning Tuesday, Oct. 9, for those seeking Bereavement Volunteer Training and Wednesday, Oct. 10 for Patient Care Volunteers.
Both training series run for nine weeks, through December 4 and 12 respectively, from 3:30 to 7p.m. at the HVHC office in Ellsworth. There is a $50 fee for the training to cover the cost of materials.
Registration includes an application and pre-training interview. Deadline for registration is Thursday, Oct. 4.
