On March 30, 2013, Girl Scouts from Super Troop 1960 presented Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Child Life Specialist, Amy Baker, with Bunny Baskets. The baskets, 20 in all, were made and stuffed with candy by the 10 girls in the troop for the patients in the pediatric and pediatric intensive care units.
The Super Troop is comprised of Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts in grades 5-8, and come from various private and public schools in the Bangor, Hampden, Old Town and Brewer areas.
The troop is led by Jamie Rennebu and Kayla Moreau.
