MILO, Maine — Step back in time with the Milo Historical Society as members lead tours of the old section of Evergreen Cemetery in Milo 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20.  Beginning at the Civil War Memorial, visitors will be taken through the history of Milo with stories about its first settlers, early families and business owners, as well as those who fought for the country, including a Revolutionary War veteran. Included in the tour is a visit to the newly completed Veteran’s Memorial and a brief history of the old carriage house where refreshments will be served.

There is no cost for the tour but donations will be accepted to help with artifact preservation and building restoration.
