Hartland author announces publication of children’s book

HARTLAND, Maine — Author Bette A. Stevens announced the recent release of her latest children’s book, “Amazing Matilda: A Monarch’s Tale.

Stevens, a former teacher,  said she hopes her book will encourage children to keep trying to do what they really want to do.
