ORLAND, Maine — H.O.M.E., Inc. of Orland will celebrate its 43rd birthday on April 25, at St. Vincent De Paul Church, 60 Franklin St. in Bucksport. A potluck dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m.
After dinner, Garrett Martin, director of Maine Center for Economic Policy, will talk on legislation pending in Augusta and Washington that directly affects the lives of low-, very low- and moderate-income Mainers.
This will be followed by a video on the life of Sister Marie Ahern; and HOME supporters David Dodson and Mary Kate Small will provide some levity, live music and political satire. All are welcome.
