DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — The Piscataquis County Soil and Water Conservation District will host their Annual Gravel Roads Maintenance Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 5, on the Law Farm land located on the Milo Road and the Lee Cemetery Road.

The Gravel Roads workshop provides informative sessions on protecting Maine’s water quality during the process of building and maintaining gravel surfaced roads while implementing Best Management Practices. This educational opportunity is formulated to help contractors, municipalities and road associations. The general public is welcome.
