Golfers invited to golf event on coast of Maine

WINTER HARBOR, Maine — The 15th annual Schoodic Scramble will take place Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 15-16 at the Grindstone Golf Course . Golfers choose which day works best for them.

The tournament fee of $85 will include 18 holes of golf, continental breakfast, lobster stew, ice cream sundaes, wine, cheese, smoked salmon, tournament hat, hole-in-one opportunity as well as prizes for men’s, ladies and couples flights.

Proceeds will benefit the Eleanor Widener Dixon Memorial Clinic in Gouldsboro, an out-patient department of Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. The lead sponsors of the Scramble are Mrs. Edith Dixon and Mr. Alan Goldstein.
