OLD TOWN/ALTON, Maine — The public is invited to join state mycologist Seanna Annis 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct, 21, for a mushroom walk at Hirundo Wildlife Refuge. Space is limited to 25 people. Annis, associate professor of mycology at the Univesity of Maine, serves as the mycological resource for the state of Maine. She received the 2011 NSFA Agricultural Award for her diligent service to the Maine public.

Hirundo Wildlife Refuge is located on Hudson Road, Route 43 in Alton/Old Town.
