PROSPECT, Maine — Fright at the Fort, the annual Halloween scarefest, will return for its 13th year 5:30-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19-20, at the Fort Knox State Historic site. The theme is “Zombie Apocalypse.”
Organizers said the first night of Fright is usually the easiest to access because the crowd is not as large.
Fright fireworks will light the skies at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, and will be visible from Bucksport
Pirate Night is Friday, Oct. 26. The Pirates of the Dark Rose will make a cameo appearance.
Oct. 27 is come in costume night. The “Rocky Horror Picture Show” will be screened at 9:30 p.m. at Northeast Historic Film/Alamo Theatre.
Tickets for Fright at the Fort are $10, $5 for children 12 and under. Fright not recommended for young children. Express tickets are $12 and may be obtained by calling 207-469-6553. Proceeds from Fright are used for Fort Knox improvements.
