Founders’ Day Trolley Parade Seashore Trolley Museum

PORTLAND, Maine  — Seashore Trolley Museum Founders’ Day July 7, 2012

STM was founded in 1939 with one open trolley car from the Biddeford & Saco Railroad Company. It’s now the world’s oldest and largest museum of mass transit.

The 2012 Founders’ Day Trolley Parade will run more than a dozen transit vehicles from our collection, with a commentary on each.

The lineup will include cars with connections to nearby communities,Boston,Connecticut,Washington D.C.,Australia, Chicago, Wheeling, and Brooklyn.

The Parade will begin at about 1 PM, and will last for about an hour.
