First Annual Apple Festival in Sebec Village

SEBEC VILLAGE, Maine — The First Annual Apple Festival will be held 10 a.m. -2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Reading Room in Sebec Village.

Paul Foulkes of Brownville will hold a cider press demonstration. There will be an apple pie baking contest, bake sale which includes all items that contain apples, apple pie eating contest, children’s games, and crafters tables. There will be a Scarecrow contest with hay and stakes provided, bring head and clothes for scarecrow. Lunch will be available.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Reading Room.
