Energy Experts at PowerSmart Maine Expo

PRESQUE ISLE and BANGOR, Maine — Ken Fletcher, top energy advisor to Governor LePage, will be the keynote speaker at two PowerSmart Maine expos to be hosted by Bangor Hydro and Maine Public Service.

Fletcher will discuss ways that Mainers can lower their energy costs. There will be a panel discussion, and Sen . Susan Collins will address the importance of energy alternatives by video message.

The expos will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle and 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor.

Vendors will be on hand to offer information on efficient heating, cooling technologies, home weatherization, electric vehicles and more. Door prizes will be awarded and refreshments will be served.
