DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — The Thompson Free Library has added a number of activities instituted into the library’s weekly and monthly schedules to allow like-minded parents and hobbyists to gather together to practice, share, and mentor their passions.
Pre-School Story Hour will be held at 10:30 a.m. , every Thursday in the new wing. A new sister program offered, “Baby and Me” an infant story hour, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Fridays this fall.
Knitters will gather in the Reading Room at 11:30 a.m. every Tuesday. All skill levels are encouraged to attend.
Rug hooking has been slated for 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Fridays.
Open-Mic Poetry Nights are held at the library four times a year, the next one on the evening of Monday, Sept. 24. These open gatherings feature no admission charge and free refreshments. Everyone is welcome to attend.
