DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — The Dover-Foxcroft Historical Society will hold its final meeting of 2012 at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at the Gerrish Meeting room, Thayer Parkway off Park Street.

Speaking will be Rep. David Slagger who is the State Representative for the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians. He will focus his talk on the Maliseet Indian in Maine, sharing their history, artifacts, stories and the meaning of so many words we use every day in our life here in Maine.

The public is invited.
