“Dog Tales” Writing Workshop at the Blue Hill Public Library

Dog-lovers ages 8 to 12 are invited to a special writing workshop 10:30 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Blue Hill Public Library. Participants will create “dog tales,” using blank dog bone-shaped books donated by Downeast Dog Scout Troop 159. Materials for illustration will be provided by the Library, and if a writer would like to feature a particular canine in their story, s/he is encouraged to bring photographs to use as illustrations in the book.

The workshop is free but space is limited so registration is required. To register, go to the Library’s web calendar at or call Pat at 374-5515.
