BELFAST, Maine  – Locally owned City Drawers announced today that it is holding an event to raise funds for the ‘Coastal Maine Center for Breast Health at the Waldo County General Hospital’ as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month.  The venue will be City Drawers at 105 Main Street, Belfast.

This event will be October 26th and 27th during regular store hours: Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 11-4.

During the ‘Curing the Fit’ weekend, for every bra-fitting and every bra sale, City Drawers will donate $2 toward Waldo County General Hospital’s Coastal Maine Center for Breast Health.  The Center provides screening and diagnostic breast imaging services (mammography, ultrasound, MRI, biopsy).  Funds from Curing the Fit will go directly into the Mammography Fund which helps patients who are uninsured or unable to pay obtain breast health screening services.
