EASTPORT, Maine — Sunrise County Economic Council announced recently that it will partner with Cianbro to present a pair of public informational meetings on the company’s proposed East-West Highway project. The East-West Highway corridor is expected to span the state of Maine from Coburn Gore in the western mountains to Calais in the east.
The meetings will be held 2:45-4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, in the Band Room at Shead High School, and 5:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, int he Assembly Room, Riverview Hall, at Washington County Community College’s in Calais. Both sessions are open to the public and free to attend.
