MILLINOCKET, Maine — University of Maine Cooperative Extension has announced that a Canning Workshop will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the VFW Hall, 40 Oxford St.
Learn the basics behind home food preservation and food safety. The course will consist of insight into how canning and freezing function as preservation methods. This is a hands-on workshop.
