LINCOLN, Maine —University of Maine Cooperative Extension in Penobscot County has announced that a Canning Workshop will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at Region 3, 35 West Broadway.
In this course you will learn the basics behind home food preservation and food safety. The course will consist of insight into how canning and freezing function as preservation methods. This is a hands-on workshop. Registration is $15 and must be paid in advance.
