Camden Rotary Club announces gift to Meals on Wheels.

CAMDEN, Maine — The Camden Rotary Club President Jim Bowditch recently presented a $4,000 donation to Lee Karker, executive director of MCH Inc. which runs the Meals on Wheels program in Knox County.

The gift will help replace the organization’s delivery containers,­ which have been well used over the past 20 years, ­ with new meal transporters, including heated ones. Meals on Wheels delivers approximately 120 meals daily to residents from

Port Clyde to Appleton, Camden to Thomaston and beyond, officials said.
