Bra decorating contest to benefit cancer resource center

ELLSWORTH, Maine — The Bud Connection announced the beginning of the annual Buds and Bras fundraiser for Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center.

All contestants have to do is create or decorate a bra. Drop off the bra at the flower shop, 89 Main St. Entry fee for individuals is $5, $10 to businesses. All entries will be displayed during October at the shop. Voting for the best entry will begin Saturday, Oct. 20. The cost for each vote is $1.
