AUGUSTA, Maine — State Sen. Geoff Gratwick, D-Bangor, will co-host a legislative forum from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Bangor Public Library in the story room. He will be joined by Reps. Aaron Frey, D-Bangor, Tori Kornfield, D-Bangor, and John Schneck, D-Bangor. This session is intended to give residents the opportunity to voice their opinions and concerns directly to their legislators.
“There are many controversial topics facing the Legislature right now,” Gratwick said in a press release. “From tax reform to the budget to whether we will accept federal dollars under the Affordable Care Act, there is a lot to discuss and I look forward to a lively and productive conversation.”

Sen. Gratwick represents Senate District 32, which includes Bangor and Hermon. He is Senate chairman of the Insurance and Financial Services Committee and also serves on the Environment and Natural Resources Committee. This is his first term in the Senate.
Rep. Frey represents House District 18, which includes parts of Bangor and Orono and the town of Veazie. He is serving on the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee. This is his first term in the House.
Rep. Kornfield represents House District 17, which includes part of Bangor. She serves on the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee. This is her first term in the House.
Rep. Schneck represents House District 16, which includes part of Bangor. He serves on the Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee. This is his first term in the House.
