Award presented to Retired Maj. Gen. Bill Libby

AUGUSTA, Maine — Retired Maj. Gen. Bill Libby of Waterville, formerly The Adjutant General of Maine, will be recognized by the country of Montenegro for his leadership and efforts in establishing an official State Partnership Program between the State of Maine and Montenegro at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at 194 Winthrop St. Camp Keyes, Augusta.

The President of Montenegro, Filip Vujanović, has authorized the awarding of the Montenegrin flag (second degree) Medal to MG Libby (Ret.). The medal will be presented to MG Libby (Ret.) at a ceremony to be held at Camp Keyes, Augusta, Maine by the Montenegrin Minister of Defense, Milica Pejanović-Đurišić.
