CAMDEN, Maine — Tillman Crane will demonstrate his process for making platinum photographs, such as this one, during his open studio 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1-2, at Tillman Crane Gallery, 22 Pearl St.
Crane creates his photographs working one sheet of film at a time with large-format cameras and using a 19th century printing process. The exhibit includes more than 75 photographs.
