ARTinME, a statewide juried fine art show open to all Maine artists, opens on October 19th. The show will be judged by Joachim Homann, Ph.D., curator of the Bowdoin College Museum. This outstanding show is sponsored by the Boothbay Region Art Foundation each fall. This October’s show will feature new and exciting work from Maine’s top artists.

BRAF is delighted to announce that we will be offering about $1500 in prizes this year, a substantial increase from previous years. Dr. Homann will select Best in Show, 1st, 2nd and Honorable Mentions to be announced at the reception. There is also a “People’s Choice” Award that will be given when the show closes. Everyone is invited to come and view the show and vote for your favorite. The prizes are offered by a small group of dedicated sponsors, including Sherman’s Book and Stationery, Knickerbocker Group, First Federal Savings Bank, Boothbay Framers, Joy to the Wind Gallery and Custom Picture Framing and The First Bank.
