BANGOR, Maine — The Penobscot Theatre Company announced that actor Gideon Emery will attend the world premiere of “Survivor Type,” a new short film based on Stephen King’s classic short story of the same name. The film will be screened 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at the theater.
“Survivor Type” is the story of a man pushed to his limits and beyond simply in order to survive, and was adapted for the screen and directed by Hanson, a Maine native.
Emery, 39, a seasoned actor and veteran of multiple Hollywood films, is best known for his role as a Russian mobster in “Takers,” featuring Matt Dillon. Emery has appeared in numerous hit television series including “Burn Notice,” “24,” and “CSI: New York” as well as compiling an impressive list of voice acting credits in some of the biggest selling video games of all time.
