The Bangor High School J.R.O.T.C. is getting ready to celebrate the 77th annual Military Ball. This year the ball will be celebrated in the gymnasium at the high school. On April 6, the Ram Battalion will celebrate 154 years as a Junior R.O.T.C. program. The ball is put on by the cadets; the tables, chairs, and gym are provided by the school. The ball is paid for by all of the money raised by the cadets. The receiving line will start at 6 p.m. Jeff’s Catering will provide a buffet style dinner. The awards will be given out by returning alumni of the program; and then the next year’s battalion commander and executive officer are named along with other battalion officers. The night ends with a dance that lasts for three hours.
