BANGOR, Maine — The Bangor Career Center is co-sponsoring a Career Fair 9:30 a.m. -3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Maine Army National Guard Flight Facility, 28 Hayes Street. Maine’s first lady, Ann LePage, is scheduled to attend the event.
More than 60 employers, all of whom have job opportunities, will be on hand to recruit for their open positions. The entire list of registered employers is available on the CareerCenter’s website atwww.mainecareercenter.com/
Attendees should bring a resume and, more important, should be prepared to have an “interview-like” conversation with employers to discuss skills, knowledge areas and abilities. Job seekers should also be dressed for an interview.
The event is sponsored by the Bangor CareerCenter and the Maine Department of Labor, the Eastern Maine Development Corporation, the Maine Army National Guard and the Tri-County Workforce Investment Board.
