Jackman School aces golf tournament

JACKMAN, Maine — Forest Hills School announced that its varsity golf team under the leadership of coaches Sean Danforth and Doug Worster has won the 2012 East-West Golf Championship. The tourney was held Sept. 26 at Lakewood Golf Course in Madison, Maine.

Forest Hills completed the day with a score of 381.  Second place went to Greenville High School with a score of 425.

Top individual scorers for the Tigers were  Evan Worster, 89; Brandon Ouellette, 96; Derick Ouellette, 97; and Ian McKendry, 99.  Also competing for the Tigers where team members Kori Coro, Matt Turner and Brant Worster.

The win qualifies the Forest Hills golf team to compete at The Maine Principal’s Association Class “C” State Championships on Oct. 6, at Natanis Golf Course in Augusta, Maine
