Washington Acad. Football 12 at Mount View 44


At Thorndike, Will Nunn rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries as Mount View scored its fourth consecutive victory.

Craig Nealley added 96 rushing yards and a touchdown on 11 carries as well as a pair of two-point conversions runs, and on defense the senior linebacker had 11 solo tackles and six assists. Outside linebacker Jake Blanchette was another defensive leader for the 5-2 Mustangs.

Quarterback Jay Babin completed 7 of 14 passes, including a 10-yard scoring pass to Ryan St. Clair, and Babin also rushed for a touchdown and blocked a Washington Academy punt that was recovered by teammate Ben Kormann.

Babin scored on a 2-yard run and passed to St. Clair for a touchdown to go with a 28-yard run by Neally as Mount View moved out to a 22-6 halftime lead.

Nunn scored both of his touchdowns in the second half of runs of 6 and 5 yards, and teammate Mark Dolloff added a 1-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter.

Washington Academy fell to 2-5 after having a two-game winning streak halted.
