Washburn Softball 4 at Limestone

At Limestone, the Eagles scored seven runs in the second inning and eight in the third to cap off an undefeated season. Leading the offense for Limestone was Ellyzabeth Bencivenga, who had a grand slam in the second inning and finished with five RBIs.
Melissa Cantafio hit a 2-run homer in the first inning to start the scoring. Kelsee Albert had three hits, including a double, while Madeline Williams and Jackie Peers each had two hits and three RBIs. In the pitching circle, Cantafio struck out seven batters in five innings for Limestone (15-0).
Washburn was led by Hannah Heald, Nicole Olsen and Brittany Corey who each had singles.
