Syracuse, New York- The University of Maine at Fort Kent women’s soccer team finished their road trip in winning fashion, beating Bryant and Stratton on Monday afternoon, 4-2.

Down a couple of starters due to injury, it was next woman up for the Bengals. Kendra Freund came from the bench to start and replaced the injured, Jennifer Cudjoe and scored two first half goals. Sherifatu Sumaila added two more, one in each half, and added to her USCAA leading goal tally. She brings her total to 32 on the season.

Peighton Ahlberg made two saves in goal for the Bengals to pick up the win.
