Trenton American Legion baseball 0 at Skowhegan 3

At Skowhegan, Brendan Curran didn’t allow a single run as Skowhegan Post 16 defeated the Acadians.

Curran allowed just three hits and induced a groundout from Beckett Slayton to end the game.
The pitching was strong on both sides as Curran struck out seven and the Acadians’ Issiac Christianson sat down nine and walked just one.

Skowhegan took an early lead in the first inning when Evan Holzworth delivered a two-out RBI single.
Austin Baron singled in the third inning for the Acadians.
Ryan Emery and Curran each collected multiple hits for Skowhegan while Chase Malloy and Holzworth each drove in one run. Dustin Crawford stole three bases.
