At Fort Kent, the University of Maine at Fort Kent women’s soccer team received four goals from Sherifatu Sumalia en route to its sixth straight win.

UMFK scored three first-half goals four and a half minutes apart to break open a tie game, starting in the 14th minute. Catherine Bruno added two goals and Kendra Freund added two assists. Marie-Laurence Montagne, Jennifer Cudjoe and Mac Carbajal each added an assist.

UMFK freshman keeper Katie Condon picked up her first win and shut out for the Bengals.

Thomas goalkeeper Paige Leary turned in a fine performance, coming up with 17 saves as the Bengals outshot the Terriers 46-1.
