FARMINGTON, Maine – The Thomas College softball team split a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) doubleheader with UMaine Farmington on Tuesday afternoon, winning game one 12-4 and dropping game two 4-2.

UMF moves to 7-19 overall and 1-5 in conference play while Thomas moves to 7-21 and 3-5 in the NAC.

Skyler Watson started on the mound for the Beavers, allowing three earned runs, seven runs total in four innings of work with four walks and one strikeout. Kailyn Hill threw one inning, giving up five hits, five runs with three of them earned.

Sydney LeBourveau (Jericho, Vt.) threw all five innings for the Terriers, giving up five hits and three earned runs.

Alison Hamilton, Alyssa Dillan, Elizabeth Walker, Kylie Cunningham and Kailyn Hill each had a hit for the Beavers. Dillan and Walker had an RBI.

Courtney Veilleux (Sidney, Maine) went 2-for-4 with three runs and an RBI for Thomas while Lexi Colpack (Franklin, N.H.) went 1-3 with two RBI’s and two runs. Kayla Bess (Madison, Maine) went 2-for-2 with two runs and an RBI.
