Sumner Boys Soccer 2 at Calais 1

At Calais, Sumner’s Max Eklund scored the winning goal off a throw-in made by captain Cruz Moshier with 55 seconds left in the first overtime.

Tyler Bunker of Sumner was able to score  the game-tying goal after a great effort by Alik Young to carry the ball up the field for an assist with 2:26 left in regulation.
Calais’ Conor McCadden opened the scoring against Sumner at 36:59 of the first half.
Sumner’s Sam Smith managed 6 saves off 12 shots while Cody Rhode of Calais made 6 saves off 23 shots.
