Sumner Softball 0 at Calais 12

At Calais, Olivia Smith pitched six innings of five-hit, shutout ball with 12 strikeouts and four walks to power the Blue Devils into the semifinals.
Smith also cranked a home run and two singles good for four RBIs for Calais, which received a triple and two singles each from Jasmine Ross and Kalee Johnson amidst a 17-hit attack. Malorie Black hit three singles, Paige Gillespie plated two runs with two triples and Kate Cundiff provided two singles and two RBIs.
Savana Turner singled twice for Sumner of East Sullivan.
