At the University of Maine, Trevor Francis pitched a complete game one-hitter, striking out 10 to lead the Red Riots to their first victory of the season. Francis helped his cause by getting on base twice and scoring a run.

Jordan Morrow pitched a complete game for Stearns of Millinocket in the loss. Morrow had the lone hit for the Minutemen.
