NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Saint Joseph’s College (10-1-2, 5-0-0 GNAC) blanked Albertus Magnus College (7-4-1, 2-2-1 GNAC), 2-0, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) men’s soccer action on Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Brett Mattos scored both of the Monks’ goals in the triumph and sophomore keeper Blake Mullen turned away all five shots he faced to collect his eighth shutout of the season and help the Monks extend their program-record undefeated streak to 12 games.

Mitchell Cyr and Nicholas Borowski earned credit for assists on the SJC goals, which were scored in the 13th and 58th minutes, respectively

Albertus keeper Joe Russo made seven saves in the losing effort
