FARMINGTON, Maine — University of Maine at Farmington field hockey (4-0) used three first-half goals to secure a 4-0 non-conference win over the University of Southern Maine on Wednesday afternoon at Prescott Field.

Lauren Watson (Clinton, Maine/Lawrence) entered the circle and dished a pass off to her left to Nickyia Lovely (Gardiner, Maine/Gardiner), who hit a one-timer past USM diving keeper Amanda Kasbohm for the goal.
In the 47th minute, Raymond charted her second goal of the contest. Andrea Stemm sent a forward pass through the USM defense where Raymond dribbled on and smacked a grounder into the left corner of the cage.
