Southern Aroostook Girls Soccer 2 at Central Aroostook 3

At Mars Hill, Central Aroostook’s Karli Levesque scored two goals in the first half to push her team to a 2-0 lead at halftime en route to the victory in the Eastern Maine Class D prelim.

CAHS’s Molly Anthony scored 11 minutes into the second half, but the Warriors of Dyer Brook battled back in the second with Chloe Raymond scoring just moments later, making it 3-1. Cassidy Lyons scored with eight minutes remaining in the game closing the gap to 3-2, but the Panthers held on.

Goalkeeper April Santiago had recorded 6 saves on 9 shots for No. 7 CAHS, now 8-7, while ‘keeper Marissa Boulier recorded 4 saves on 15 shots for No. 10 SAHS, which finished at 8-7.
