Schenck Baseball 6 at Piscataquis 8

At Guilford on Friday, Spencer Martell sparked the PCHS offense by going 3 for 3 with 2 singles and a double. Martell had an RBI, 3 stolen bases and scored 3 times.

Cody White tripled in the first, earning 2 RBIs and scored once for the Pirates (2-4). Jeremy Bell doubled, scored 2 runs and had an RBI. Tristan French, Nate Burns, Cameron Pratt, Darren Weeks, and Kyle Kain each added a hit.

Zach Pratt started  and picked up his first varsity win, giving up 5 hits, 2 walks, and struck out 6 in five innings. Cody White picked up his second save by only giving up 1 hit, walking 1 and striking out 4 in the last two innings.

For Schenck (1-5), Ryan Leavitt had a single, an RBI and scored twice. Chris King doubled and scored a run. Tyler Powers singled and had an RBI.
