At the Red Barry Gymnasium in Bangor, sophomore guard Rowan Andrews hit a three-pointer with 3.8 seconds left to give Bangor an upset victory over  Portland.

Bangor, which snapped a 10-game losing streak and improved to 3-11 , entered the game as the eighth seed in the eight-team Class AA North Heal Points standings while Portland was number one. The Bulldogs are now 9-4 after having their three-game winning streak snapped.

Freshmen Riley Andrews and Libby Flemming had nine points apiece for Bangor and Abby Houghton had six more.

Shayla Eubanks had a game-high 14 points for Portland. Gemima Motema had 11 and Davina Kabantu had 10 including a three-pointer with 20 seconds left that tied the game.
