Piscataquis Girls Soccer 2 at Penobscot Valley 3

At Howland, Arianna McKinnon fought through two defenders in the first minute of overtime to score the game-winner to help Penobscot Valley improve to 5-0.

Meghan Howey gave the Howlers the lead early in the first half from a Brittany Moon assist. Alex Speed tied the game for PCHS (2-2-1).

Jenna Hope gave the Howlers the 2-1 lead just before the half. Piscataquis’ Mariah Pettit tied the game with four minutes left in the second half.

PVHS goalie Sami Ireland finished with 6 saves on 10 shots. Elaine Riitano made 10 saves on 23 shots for 2-2-1 PCHS.
