Piscataquis Baseball 0 at Foxcroft 10

At Dover-Foxcroft, Kaleb Smith threw six innings of no-hit ball, striking out 11 and walking just one as visiting Foxcroft Academy topped Piscataquis Community High School.

In his first career varsity at bat, freshman Abe Simpson singled in Jesse Provost to deliver the Ponies with a walk-off mercy rule win with two outs in the sixth.

Provost was 3-3 with two runs batted in and two of the Ponies’ 18 stolen bases. Hunter Law had two hits with an RBI and four stolen bases. Ryan Rebar also had two hits and drove in a run with two stolen bases. Caleb Richard had a hit, two RBIs and two stolen bases.

Paul Johnston and Logan Sargent pitched for PCHS and combined for five strikeouts.
