Old Town Boys Soccer 0 at Caribou 4

At Caribou, Kameron Manter scored twice in the first half to propel the Vikings to their first victoru.

Matt Milliard and Adam Collins posted goals in the second half for 1-2 Caribou.

Manter’s first goal came off a direct kick that he curled over the Old Town defense and into the upper left corner of the net. Later in the half, Manter found the net again after a hard shot by Caribou’s Michael Hunter rebounded back to him in front of the goal.

In the second half, Milliard drove home a corner kick from teammate Colby Holdsworth for the Vikes’ third tally, and 30 seconds later Hunter found Collins streaking into the box and Collins put the ball away to the far post to cap off the scoring.

Matt Manter and Ethan Plourde combined to make six saves on 11 shots for the shutout.

Zach Libby and Austin Sheehan had 14 saves on 32 shots for 0-1 Old Town.
