HOW IT HAPPENED:

Senior Sarah Comtois (Lowell, Mass.) capped the game scoring early in the second stanza, when she unleashed a left-footed shot, from nearly 40 yards out, to the upper left corner of the net at the 46:35 mark.
Saint Joseph’s senior Brooke Troup (East Bridgewater, Mass.) was untested in what was her third shutout of the season while her counterpart, Norwich freshman Katie Bishop-Manning (New York, N.Y.), registered 10 stops in a losing effort.
Monks senior defender Emily DeLuca (Gorham, Maine) also posted a defensive save in the 80th minute.
