BANGOR, Maine- Husson University Softball Team (11-10, 1-1 NAC) spilt a doubleheader with New England College (10-18, 4-2 NAC) winning the second game 8-0 at O’Keefe Field on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened:
The Eagles took very little time as they jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the 1st inning. Fowler started it off with a 2-run RBI-double to make 2-0. Smith followed that up with a home run to score herself and Fowler. Morgan Coleman (Acton, Maine) scored late on in the inning thanks to a fielding error.
Husson added a run in the 2nd inning as Chloe Gorey (Scarborough, Maine) attempted to steal second base and got caught in a pickle that allowed Brochu to score and make it 6-0.
Eagles finished off the scoring as Coleman hit a 2-run home run to finish the game at 8-0.
